"We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thought. With our thoughts we make the world"- The Dhammapada

Slow Down

Slow Down and take time to appreciate where you are in this moment. Don't become so focused on your goals or the end result that you forget to enjoy the journey. For it's the journey that gives us the gift of appreciation when we finally attain what it is that we set out for. It's the journey that teaches us the life lessons, gives us the tools, and allows us to change our minds about what we want. When we become overly focused on the destination where we start living in the future and our inner dialogue becomes "I'll be happy when"  we forget to appreciate the present moment and all it's beauty and purpose. So if you find yourself too focused on the future, as I so often do, take a step back, slow down, and savor the present. you are exactly where you are meant to be in this moment. In this moment you are enough, you are complete, and you are worthy. Lean on the Universe and have faith that everything is exactly as it should be.
